The Israel Robotics Association (IROB), is the leading organization in Israel that represents and promotes the mutual interests of academia and industry in the robotics field. It was founded in 2011 by leading members of the Israeli robotics community from industry and academia to promote robotics as a field of national priority, to encourage local and international cooperation, and to foster a viable robotics industry in Israel.
IROB is the organizer of the leading robotics conference in Israel, ICR, that attracts local and international experts in robotics, leading robotics companies, government agencies, and students. In addition, IROB organizes regularly community meetings that focus on specific current issues in the robotics field.
IROB is a founding member or partner of a few leading international organizations in China, Korea, and Europe.
