Robotics Association of Nepal (RAN) is the only national-level nonprofit association that provides an outstanding platform in science, technology, and robotics for students and enthusiasts all over the country. RAN has been established to promote, educate, explore, and compete in the field of robotics. The mission is to create platforms, partnerships, and possibilities to enable Nepali organizations and individuals to understand the implications of the science of mechanics, electronics, robotics, and coding and implement them to find solutions to everyday life problems. Our objective is to provide a problem-based learning environment where youths can explore solutions to automate and mechanize everyday processes and build effective and efficient systems that lead to better and dignified lives.
Vision: To represent Nepal globally and act as a common hub for Robotics and Technology activities in Nepal.
Since its inception, the Robotics Association of Nepal[RAN] has been working on solving local and national issues that exist in the country. RAN has partnerships with National and International Agencies for solving Urban development Issues. Robotics Association of Nepal[RAN] was a Key partner during Smart Urban Technology Challenges [SUTC] organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City [KMC] where RAN supported KMC with technological interventions and mentorship to the participants of the competition. Similarly, RAN and Good City Foundation [GCF] are working together on SMART City Master planning and getting direct inputs from World Economic Forum [WEF] Urban Transformation and IoT Development Committee.
